Privacy Policy

This policy covers the website gambaos.com. It does not describe the GambaOS application — the app runs on your own machine and is covered in the section at the end.

GambaOS is currently operated by an independent developer, not a registered company. There is no corporate entity behind it yet. If that changes, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.

What this site collects

Your email address, if you give it to us. The only form on this site is the early-access waitlist. If you submit it, we store your email address, the language version of the site you used, which page you submitted from, and the time you submitted.

We also store a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address. This is used solely to stop one person from submitting hundreds of addresses. It cannot be turned back into your IP address.

Waitlist data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database in our own account.

We will send you one email, when GambaOS becomes available to download. We do not run a newsletter and we do not sell, rent, or share the list with anyone. Every email includes a way to remove yourself, and you can also ask us to delete your address at any time by writing to the contact address below.

Analytics

We want to know how many people visit and which pages are useful. We do this in two ways:

Self-hosted analytics. We run our own analytics instance. It records page views, referrers, and rough country-level location. It does not set cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. It runs for every visitor.

Google Analytics — only if you agree. Google Analytics sets cookies and sends data to Google. It is switched off by default. It is loaded only if you click “Allow” on the consent banner, and your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no Google Analytics code is ever loaded.

You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which will bring the banner back.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share personal data.
• We do not run advertising or advertising trackers.
• We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.
• We do not use your email for anything other than the launch announcement.

Hosting

This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the network requests needed to deliver the site, and may keep short-term security and abuse-prevention logs. See Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation for details.

The GambaOS application

The application is a different matter from this website, and the short version is that it does not report to us at all.

GambaOS runs on your own computer or your own server. Your API keys stay in your own configuration. The panel talks to the model providers you configure, and to nothing of ours. The analytics code inherited from the upstream project was removed from the source, not merely disabled — you can verify this in the repository.

The one exception is the update check: the app asks gambaos.com whether a newer version exists. That request is an ordinary web request and tells us nothing about you beyond what any web request reveals.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address below and we will action it. Because the only personal data we hold is an email address on a waitlist, “delete everything” is usually a one-line operation.

Changes
